16. AYG Opening Ceremony at the Singapore Indoor Stadium
Hello everyone! On 29 June 2009, a group of Queenstown Secondary School pupils (comprising the Sports Leaders, Prefects, volleyball boys and girls, soccer boys, basketball boys, wushu boys, gymnastic girls, badminton boys and girls etc.) and teachers went for the asia 1st ever AYG opening ceremony at the Singapore indoor stadium.

There were a total of 45 countries taking part in this 1st ever Asia youth games held in Singapore. We were all so excited to see the athletes from the various countries. We thought that the parade by the athletes was the 'coolest' part of the show.

We were so glad and thankful that we get to watch all of this live! Thank you teachers for bringing all of us there!
